Dennis Averill is an author and an associate professor at Johns Hopkins University. He was awarded the Shingo Award for his book, Lean Sustainability. As a long- time youth religious instructor, father of two, and a proud grandfather of five; he aims to write entertaining children’s stories that captivate young readers while teaching important life lessons. He currently resides in Melbourne, Florida with his wife and two dogs. The Dogs that Helped Santa Save Christmas is his first children’s book.
