G.F. Curry has spent more than twenty-eight years in the electrical construction industry, specializing in the nuclear field. Shortly before retiring in 2017, he moved to Fripp Island, a sub-tropical barrier island located in the heart of South Carolina’s low country. Fripp Island is, and was, the home to many noted authors such as Dr. Mary Thornton Jacobs and Pat Conroy. It was the filming location of The Prince of Tides, Forrest Gump and The Jungle Book.
