Joyce L. Campbell has been a licensed professional counselor/psychotherapist for over twenty-five years. Her passion for helping others is the hallmark of her life. A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, she is State and National Board licensed. With many thousands of hours in private clinical practice, it has been said that her sterling reputation precedes her.

While serving in one of her internships (Centennial Peaks Behavioral Hospital) prior to finishing graduate school, the topic of subjugation (compliance) was introduced to her. Intrigued by the concept, she invested a great deal of thought and research into the subject. These actions led to a firm belief that what she has termed chronic subjugation needed to be expanded upon and exposed. This book, Dare To Say No, is the result of the knowledge acquired and put into practice with her clients.

Over the years, she has been astounded at the debilitating effect this pattern of behavior has had on so many clients. Applying the steps included in this book, numerous clients have been set free from this crippling, unhealthy frame of mind. Her clients have benefited from her expertise in defeating chronic subjugation. She desires for her book to aid scores of others, domestically and internationally, to fulfill their potential and finally experience a happier, healthier life.
