The Generative Domain is a new historical interpretation of world history. The monograph introduces three core elements for understanding human cultures and civilizations. It does this while synthesizing multiple levels of analysis, from the intrapsychic to the communal, institutional, and civilizational. This approach parallels treatments by other global theorists since the nineteenth century but goes beyond the classic interpretations of world systems. The result is a powerful and original treatment of interest to scholars and thinkers from a wide range of disciplines.
