In What I Learned While Falling: Finding Spiritual Ground When You Stop Believing, author Ruth Ann Lonardelli explores the role of spirituality and belief in our lives and raises the question: What if our beliefs were not set in stone but only stepping stones leading us into other directions? Sometimes we may feel that our spiritual questions aren’t necessarily answered—yet they are resolved in such a way that many old questions lose their relevance.

Through story, reflection, and lessons from loss, the author invites us to examine our beliefs and spiritual assumptions and ask: What matters most?
