What you get and how it works

Luminare Press provides a professionally formatted interior and a custom cover design for every book we publish. The careful selection of fonts, layout, and images for both cover and interior will achieve a smooth, cohesive look and feel for your book.

The cover design process starts with a customer questionnaire, where you tell us YOUR ideas for the cover. Perhaps you have an image you want to use, or specific colors in mind, or other covers you like. We also ask for other cover information we need, such as the back cover text and the author bio. The more information you give us, the happier we are.

Don’t worry if you are unsure about how to find an image to use or write back cover text. We can guide you through that process.

Once the questionnaire is submitted, the magic starts. We’ll provide a sample cover based on information you’ve provided, and then we will work with you to refine the idea. Most of our covers go through several revisions before they are ready to print, and we welcome your feedback throughout the process.

The interior design is a similar process. Once we have chosen the template you like and the size of the book, we’ll lay the book out and send it to you for feedback. Like the cover, we may go through a few rounds of revisions.
