Dorothy F. Marshall lives with her husband Ken and dog Wraith on a small ranch in Utah where majestic mountain views greet her from almost every window of her beautifully remodeled hundred year old home. After careers as a technical writer, and business owner, she found time (though never enough,) to write a literary collection of essays and short stories. These days her focus has shifted to novels and she currently has three in varying stages of completion.

Part memoir, part nostalgia, poignant and reminiscent of a simpler time, The Way We Were is storytelling at its finest. Dorothy F. Marshall is the family matriarch and the inspiration, the wind behind the sails of a cast of writers. Every family has its stories; few are told with such vivid reflection as those within her circle.

Between these covers, Dorothy F. Marshall’s short stories keep pleasant company with stories by contributors Jim Marshall, John Fulstone, Ella Schmeling, and GL Poling.
