Luminare is as professional as it gets. My book is ready for prime time and a national book tour. The publisher used the finest editors, designers, and proofreaders. The expertise and attention to detail was first rate. I particularly liked the personal encouragement and direction that was given. I am thrilled to have given this life work to Luminare.Danuta Pfeiffer – author of Chiseled, A Memoir of Identity, Duplicity, and Fine Wine

How it works
Publishing with Luminare Press will save you time and money. We work closely with our authors to create professional books and to make sure you understand the publishing process and avoid costly mistakes.
In the last ten years we perfected a bullet-proof system that allows us to publish books that stand out in the crowd. We know how to pay attention to details that make or break a book—an effective and appealing cover, a font that’s easy to read, a page that’s professionally formatted, the appearance of the front and back matter.
Our Publishing Boutique is a turn-key service. We do the work so you can focus on writing and selling.
- Consultation call – Free 30-minute call
It’s a complimentary call you can book right now. We use this call to talk about your project, evaluate what you may need, and see if Luminare can be a good publishing partner for you. It’s not a sales call and you’ll gain a lot of knowledge.
- Editing – Optional service
Editing is not included in our boutique packages, because some of our clients have their own editors. If you’re one of them, we are thrilled! You can work with any editor you prefer, but, we strongly recommend to have you manuscript edited before you start the publishing process. You can check our rate and details on our editing services here.
- Manuscript preparation
Starts as soon as you send us the files of your final copy of your manuscript.
- Book preparation
This includes all the book design such as interior formatting, assets review, metadata set-up, back cover text, author bio and photo and more.
- Cover design
We create a beautiful, custom design book cover for your print and digital formats.
- ISBN, copyright and Library of Congress
We register your book with Bowker’s Books in Print and the Library of Congress. You retain all rights and 100% of royalties, and will be able to order your books directly from printing and distribution accounts. Basic account set up and ordering assistance is included in the packages.
- Final review and proof copy
Before your book is published, you’ll receive a physical copy for a final evaluation.
- eBook creation
File conversion and eBook preparation. Files will be delivered as Mobi/Kindle and ePub formats, which allow you to sell on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and your own site.
- Marketing consultation – 1-hour call included
A complimentary call to help you with your marketing strategy. We will talk about niche audiences and avenues you can establish to reach readers and media outlets.
Your book will be available for distribution through major online retailers and bookstores. Print-on-demand means that Amazon, for instance, will always show books in stock. Customers will also be able to order through bookstores, with delivery in a matter of days.
