Janet C. Robertson loves to learn and explore the world and its stories. She was born and raised in New York City where she attended the Walden School. Janet has published two family sagas. One, Journey Home, is a fictional account of a Jewish woman in the early twentieth century. The other, All Our Yesterdays, written with her husband, James Oliver Robertson (Jim), is a non-fiction exploration of 150 years of the Connecticut family that lived in the house they purchased together in 1967. Janet explores and writes Midrash in short story form. She holds an AB in medieval history from Radcliffe College and a master’s degree in education from Lesley College. She studied ancient and modern languages and was ABD in linguistics at Harvard. Janet happily traveled the world with Jim and then with other friends after his death. She is the mother of two children: Jonathan, married to Kristine, and Rachel, married to Nick. She has two grandchildren, Haney and Sam. She lives in her home in Edmonds, Washington where she spent the pandemic studying Yiddish.
