To our community,

First, thanks for your support during these difficult and rapidly changing times. We continue to design and publish books and have several new, exciting projects in the works.

But sadly, we in the office won’t be working near each other on a daily basis. Some of us have children out of school, and, in general, we believe it is prudent to work at home. Except for Patricia, who works on a laptop and is more mobile, everyone will be working remotely.

For some of you, this is the norm—we usually only communicate electronically or by phone. For those of you who come into the office, know that our presence will be only part-time at best but that we can use the same tools (phone, email, video conferencing) we use with our distant clients to continue to move your project along.

We hold daily staff meetings with video (sometimes joined by our children and pets) and continue to provide information and support for our clients and each other. We feel incredibly grateful that we are able to do this work remotely.

Current clients can reach Kim, our project manager, on her cell phone. Designers and editors working on individual projects will be in touch as usual.

If you’re taking advantage of social distancing or sheltering in place and would like to move a publishing project forward, please set up an appointment to speak with Patricia. It’s a great time to be exploring options, and we’re happy to help you sort them out.

Finally, we plan to continue working and will still be here when this is all over. Thanks to the clients who have signed up recently. It keeps our independent publishing option available to future clients.
