Miss Sally’s Daffodils by Darcy R. Gleisberg

by Darcy R. Gleisberg

When Miss Sally loses her father, she feels like she’s lost a part of herself. After all, he was the one who inspired her love of gardening. But by combining her passion for art and nature, Miss Sally dreams up a way to honor her father and bring joy to her town. Still, her dream will take a lot of work. Can Miss Sally bring the community together in time to make her vision a reality? Inspired by the true story behind the Julian Daffodil Project and illustrated by local artists, Miss Sally’s Daffodils is a tale about the good things that come when one dares to dream.

What this author said about working with us...

Beginning with a free consultation with Patricia Marshall, I sensed that Luminare is a straight-forward, ethical company that always has my best interests in mind as an author. As this was my first experience with self-publishing, there was so much to learn, however, Luminare provided explicit, prompt, and very clear instructions staggered to appear at each stage of the publishing experience. I was impressed by their quick responses, fidelity to deadlines, and polite and professional communication. There are so many scams targeting authors and so many self-published texts that look cheap and homemade. However, with Luminare, I felt that my money was well-invested and that my very sentimental project was in the best of hands. There were so many design elements that I wouldn't have considered on my own. The illustrations came from a myriad of artists and styles, but in the final book they look integrated and purposeful. I don't know by what happy accident I stumbled upon Luminare, but I can't imagine a better company to facilitate the publication of my first book. Darcy R. Gleisberg
